Sage Heart

Sage Heart is worked entirely in greens on cream wool felt. Large round blooms, daisies and small spirals fill the whole surface, shading from pale mint through sage and lime to deep olive, so the flowers stand out against each other by tone instead of by colour. Hand embroidered in the Tenango style, the Otomí embroidery of Hidalgo. Every figure is filled in by hand with no printed pattern underneath, so no two are the same.

Colours: cream base with olive, moss, sage, lime, mint and off white.
