Mango the Xolo | Day of the Dead Edition

Handmade Xoloitzcuintle, Día de Muertos Inspired

A$64.99

Warm and sunny like its namesake, Mango has a golden eye ringed in deep purple and bright orange. Purple swirls, a violet flower and little pink dots cover its face, with a turquoise curl above each eye. Both upright ears carry a magenta bloom framed in lime green, with purple leaves and small orange buds. A magenta flower sits on its neck, and orange and purple blooms run down its chest between hand-stitched white bones.

The Legend of the Xolo
In Mexica tradition, the Xoloitzcuintle guided souls through Mictlán, the underworld, carrying them across its great river to their final rest. Today it remains a symbol of loyalty and protection, and a beloved part of Día de Muertos.
