Limon the Xolo | Day of the Dead Edition

Fresh, bright and full of zest. Limón has a deep purple eye ringed in golden yellow and lime green, with a purple flower and swirls on its nose and golden curls framed by red dots across its face. Both upright ears carry a turquoise bloom wrapped in deep blue, with violet leaves and little pink buds. A golden flower sits on its neck, and red blooms and green swirls run down its chest between hand-stitched white bones.

The Legend of the Xolo
In Mexica tradition, the Xoloitzcuintle guided souls through Mictlán, the underworld, carrying them across its great river to their final rest. Today it remains a symbol of loyalty and protection, and a beloved part of Día de Muertos.
