Jade the Xolo | Day of the Dead Edition

Handmade Xoloitzcuintle, Día de Muertos Inspired

A$64.99

Jade looks at the world through two turquoise hearts framed in lime green. Red flowers with turquoise centres crown her forehead, and golden swirls, orange dots and a purple bloom with teal leaves cover her face. Both upright ears carry a golden flower wrapped in bright pink, with teal leaves and little orange buds. A magenta flower sits on her neck, and orange roses and purple blooms run down her chest between hand-stitched white bones.

The Legend of the Xolo
In Mexica tradition, the Xoloitzcuintle guided souls through Mictlán, the underworld, carrying them across its great river to their final rest. Today it remains a symbol of loyalty and protection, and a beloved part of Día de Muertos.
