Warm, sweet and full of spice, just like the cinnamon in a cup of Mexican hot chocolate. Canela has a magenta eye framed in orange, a cheeky toothy grin and an ear featuring a big purple bloom wrapped in golden yellow, surrounded by pink, red and turquoise flowers. Lime green swirls and little pink roses decorate its face, with a rainbow of stitches running down to its tail.
About Día de Muertos
On 1 and 2 November, Mexican families welcome back the spirits of loved ones who have passed. Ofrendas fill with photos, candles, favourite foods and cempasúchil flowers, turning remembrance into a celebration of life.
