These Terms and Conditions govern your use of sandiauniquegifts.com and the purchase of products from Sandia Unique Gifts (“we”, “us”, “our”).

Sandia Unique Gifts is a sole trader business registered in Western Australia, Australia.

By accessing our website or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Products

We sell handcrafted, artisan-made physical products, including decorative tassels, dolls, embroidered earrings and dog collars.

2.1 Handmade Nature of Products

All products are handmade and many are one-of-a-kind. Variations in:

  • Color combinations

  • Patterns

  • Shapes

  • Textures

  • Minor asymmetries

are natural characteristics of artisanal craftsmanship and are not considered defects.

Each piece is unique and may differ slightly from website images.

2.2 Custom and Made-to-Order Products

We accept custom and made-to-order requests with a minimum lead time of four (4) weeks.

Due to the personalized nature of these items, additional conditions may apply.

3. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe and Afterpay.

  • We reserve the right to cancel any order due to pricing errors or incorrect listings.

  • In the event of cancellation due to pricing error, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid.

4. Shipping

4.1 Shipping Provider

We ship using Australia Post.

4.2 Domestic & International Shipping

We offer shipping within Australia and internationally.

Shipping timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

4.3 Risk & Insurance

All shipments are sent with insurance.

If a parcel is lost in transit and confirmed by Australia Post, we will provide a replacement product where possible.

5. Returns & Exchanges

5.1 Return Eligibility

We accept returns only in cases of major defects or significant damage.

We do not accept returns for:

  • Change of mind

  • Minor variations inherent to handmade products

  • Improper handling or misuse

5.2 Timeframe

Return requests must be made within fifteen (8) days of receiving the product.

5.3 Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived significantly damaged.

5.4 Damaged Items

If a product arrives severely defective or broken:

  • We will replace the item.

  • We will cover the replacement shipping cost.

5.5 Refund Policy

We do not offer monetary refunds for approved returns.

We offer:

  • Store credit, or

  • Product exchange

in accordance with these Terms and subject to Australian Consumer Law.

6. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Where a product has a major failure under ACL, you are entitled to a replacement or refund as required by law.

All content on this website is the exclusive property of Sandía Unique Gifts, including:

  • Product designs

  • Photographs

  • Written descriptions

  • Graphics and branding materials

Use of our images or content for blogs, press, or media requires prior written consent.

7.2 Resale

Unauthorized resale of our products without written agreement is strictly prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for:

  • Allergic reactions to textiles, dyes, or natural materials

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Loss of profit or business interruption

Customers are responsible for ensuring proper use of decorative items and pet accessories.

9. Cultural Integrity & Fair Trade Commitment

Sandia Unique Gifts works directly with artisan communities, primarily from:

  • Chiapas, Mexico

  • Amealco, Querétaro, Mexico

We operate without intermediaries and are committed to:

  • Fair collaboration practices

  • Respect for Indigenous cultural traditions

  • Ethical sourcing

  • Honouring the original artistry and symbolism of each piece

We do not claim authorship of traditional designs created by artisan communities.

10. Privacy

We collect customer email addresses for order processing and communication purposes.

Our website is hosted via Hostinger.

We do not sell or share customer data with third parties except as required for payment processing and shipping.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
