Jacaranda Heart

Jacaranda Heart is named after the purple trees that flower across Mexico in spring. A heart shaped cushion hand embroidered in the Tenango style, the Otomí embroidery of Hidalgo. Flowers, leaves and birds cover the whole lilac wool felt surface, filled in stitch by stitch in flat, solid colour. There is no pattern printed underneath, so the design grows as the maker works. One of a kind.

Colours: lilac base with pink, fuchsia, coral, red, wine, turquoise, sky blue, lavender and purple.
